Meet Dr Masood Ansari

Dr Ansari has undergone nine years of extensive surgical training around the globe. He received his initial surgical training under the auspices of the National Health Services (NHS) in the United Kingdom and obtained Membership in the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) in 2006. Due to his particularly keen interest in surgical research, Dr Ansari has been involved in multiple academic research projects and was awarded a Masters (MSc) in Advanced Surgical Practice from Cardiff University in the United Kingdom. After receiving extensive training in Cosmetic Surgery in Australia, he was granted a fellowship from the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr Ansari has also received multiple scholarships and prizes throughout his career.

Dr Sanjay Verma is a talented and experienced cosmetic surgeon. Dr. Verma holds a surgical fellowship with the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgeons (ACCS), the only cosmetic surgery training program in Australia which is recognised and endorsed by the prestigious American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. He has performed countless cosmetic procedures with excellent results
Dr. Verma is also a highly respected surgeon with over 25 years of experience in the medical field. He is passionate about teaching and has been a mentor for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He has also instructed in the Royal Australian College of Surgeons’ trauma and critical care surgical courses, and in the past, was also a member of the College’s Academy of Surgical Educators, helping to guide the next generation of surgeons.
Dr. Verma has been working as a Visiting Surgeon in NSW Health Public Hospitals for 15 years and can boast a squeaky-clean record throughout his extensive career. He has devoted his career to serving rural Australian communities, where surgical services were in short supply.
Being passionate about surgery even before he received his MBBS degree in 1990, Dr. Verma has dedicated himself to continuously upskilling his surgical skills to excel as a surgeon. Training with Australia’s leading general and aesthetic surgeons, Dr. Verma has acquired techniques to ensure that when he operates the surgery not only incorporates the latest techniques to minimize damage to the body and ensure optimal healing but delivers a natural looking aesthetic result.
Penny Adams
Registered Nurse
Penny completed her Bachelor of Nursing at The University of Technology Sydney in 2009. She has spent the last 6 years working in the operating theatres at one of Sydney’s private hospitals with her primary commitment to cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery.
Her passion for cosmetic medicine has led her to pursue further training through the Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science to enhance and develop her knowledge of cosmetic injectable treatments and anti-ageing dermal therapies.
Penny’s friendly and professional approach offers a personalised service to produce aesthetically pleasing results with an emphasis on patient safety and satisfaction.

Meredith Salisbury
Registered Nurse
Meredith has been a Registered Nurse for many years, becoming a Cosmetic Nurse Injector over 15 years ago. During this time she has also owned her own business and had a baby. Resuming her career in the cosmetic industry on a more permanent basis over 3 years ago. “I have enjoyed meeting all of our clients at My Cosmetic Clinic Wollongong and Nowra. I work with my patients, listening to their concerns and offering advice, knowing that we all want to delay the inevitable aging process and enhance our natural beauty. Kat completed her completed her Bachelor of Nursing degree at the University of Technology, Sydney in 2004 and has over 13 years experience. Kat has spent the last 10 years working in various senior clinical leadership roles. Kat’s love for the aesthetic industry and passion for improving the appearance of her clients through Cosmetic medical intervention led her to pursue a career and formal training in Cosmetic nursing.
Kat is a formally qualified Cosmetic nurse with a graduate diploma of Cosmetic Nursing and a graduate certificate in intense pulsed light and laser hair reduction, obtained through the Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science. Kat is very detailed in her approach and her experience ensures she understands the technical as well as the aesthetic approach to injectables.
Kat is a mother of two, so she understands how busy life can be and the drain it has on one’s skin. That’s why she believes in a fresh and natural appearance.

For Hannah Ajami a passion for all things Beauty, Wellbeing, Science and Artistry has culminated in a rewarding career centred around Cosmetic Nursing, with ongoing training and education of utmost priority.
Having completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Sydney in 2004, she has gone on to gain a Masters of Nursing also at the University of Sydney, alongside a nationally recognised qualification in Makeup Artistry & Laser safety.

Kristen completed her Bachelor of Nursing Degree at the University of Newcastle after more than 10 years in the beauty industry, where she specialized in skin, laser, and light therapies.
Her love of aesthetics’ has always been her passion and drive, which led her to further her career in cosmetic injectables. She attended the Academy of Cosmetic Medicine and Science in Sydney, where she completed her post graduate diploma in cosmetic injectables.
Kristen has also completed a post graduate course in nurse immunization and is currently working in a senior role in primary health care where she can enjoy her passion for nursing by helping people.

Joanna has been a Registered Nurse for over 25 years and first started working in cosmetic nursing 15 years ago. She has been with My Cosmetic Clinic in Newcastle since 2019 and also works in critical care. Ruth Hamilton
Registered Nurse
Ruth is an experienced theatre nurse with 25 years of specialized cosmetic and general surgery nursing. She is genuinely passionate in providing patient centered care within all areas relating to pre, peri and post-operative nursing. Cosmetic surgery has predominately been her focus for many years, and she has an ardent interest, and sizable knowledge of all areas within this industry.
Ruth’s extensive nursing background includes Day Hospital Director of Nursing facility management, Ministry of Health facility commissioning, ACHS accreditation, infection prevention and control consultancy and coordinating all medical and nursing personnel for surgical lists.

Karen Davison

Karen is an AHPRA Board Certified Registered Nurse. She specialised in Peri-Operative Nursing for 28 years in 4 Private Hospitals. During that time she developed an interest in Plastic Cosmetic Reconstructive Surgery and Facio-Maxillary Surgery.
Karen is skilled in Advanced Injecting techniques. Karen’s approach is to listen to her patient’s concerns, careful assessment, discuss treatment options, develop a treatment plan, as well as give skin care advice to help maintain an ageing skin and slow down the ageing process of a younger skin. Her kind and caring nature allows her patients feel to comfortable with advice and treatments.

Linda Vas
Registered Nurse
With over 30 years of experience as a registered nurse in both private and public surgeries, Linda has followed her passion for cosmetic surgery over the past 15 years working primarily in day surgery within the cosmetic surgery sector.
She has extensive knowledge as a senior nurse in pre, peri, and post-op surgical nursing. Linda has assisted in the accreditation with the ACMS of numerous facilities.
Over 10 years of experience working with the Australasian College of cosmetic surgeons, running training workshops for the registrar.
Linda displays a professional, caring approach with the best possible outcomes.
