What Are Skinboosters?
Skinboosters is a injectable product intended for the restoration of dull, damaged skin. It is a dermal filler based in hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring sugar molecule responsible for dermal hydration. This treatment can be used on the face, neck, décolletage, and even hands; it improves the firmness and elasticity of skin, decreases roughness, and reduces trans-epidermal water loss. How Does It Work?
During your Skinboosters treatment session, a dose of the filler will be injected into the area or areas of concern. The hyaluronic acid molecules will begin to absorb water up to 200 times its weight, hydrating the skin from the inside out. We recommend two to three treatment sessions spaced about two to four weeks apart. The effects of Skinboosters are gradual and subtle, with the full effect taking up to three months to become visible. To maintain optimal results, we advise you to schedule regular maintenance sessions every six months.

HOW DO SKINBOOSTERS™ WORK?
SKINBOOSTERS™ is like many other fillers in that it contains hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the skin. The main difference is particle size. SKINBOOSTERS™ is made of millions of tiny particles which attract water. As such, it doesn’t really fill the face but adds to hydration. Other fillers have larger particle sizes, which creates more of a filling effect.
WHAT IS IT MADE OF?
SKINBOOSTERS™ contains 20mg of HA and lidocaine.
WHAT IS ITS RECOMMENDED USE?
The recommended use is 2-3mls per session. It lasts up to 6 months. In extremely crepey skin you may need to do a treatment at 6-12 weeks. It is ideal for sun-damaged skin, accordion lines in the lower face, and crepey hands.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD TREATMENTS OCCUR?
Treatment should occur every six months, but see above for extremely crepey skin. Some people do it as a one-off before an important event.
