Psychological Assessment & Cooling-Off Period
In accordance with AHPRA’s cosmetic surgery guidelines, all adult patients must undergo:
- A minimum 7-day cooling-off period after receiving written information and a consultation, prior to giving consent
- Psychological screening (using validated tools) to assess mental health, including body image concerns. If appropriate, referral to an independent psychologist or GP will be arranged.
